Buff can be given to monsters by either catapulting Putty, or using a Fomor. Buff
increases a monster's attack speed, movement speed and makes them take less damage. Buffs do not stack.It was also good for a pokey-bomb so the pokies can easily destroy the base. (very effective for 1-42 levels.)

- Buff is commonly used with Project X, as when 10 Million Putty is catapulted on the Project X, the Project X becomes invincible for 40 seconds, moves twice as fast, and attacks twice as fast.
- Rage is very similar to buff, except that rage makes the monster glow red, instead of purple.
